Beech & Rosewood Safari Folding Stools by Mogens Koch for Interna, 1960s, Set of 2

Beech & Rosewood Safari Folding Stools by Mogens Koch for Interna, 1960s, Set of 2

Mogens Koch designed the folding chair in 1932 reinterpreting
the traditional folding stool archetype by pairing easy folding
functionality with modern aesthetics. However, it was not put
into full production before the 1960s. These two stools are from
the 1960s, with new black linen. The stools come from the estate
of architect Axel Thygesen (1927-1976) and his wife Anne Lise Thygesen
(1926-2016).W.45cm,dj.37,sh.45.
